While I principally work in silver, I do also work in gold and mokume gane. Recently I've enjoyed experimenting with titanium and mounting semi-precious stones.
Since I was a boy, I've worked with metal in some form or fashion. As kids, my brother and I rescued a rusted out lathe left in a junkyard and restored it to a functional state. I then created a tool and die business with my brother in our twenties. Metal is something I have always gravitated to. My wife jokes it's in my bloodstream.
I enjoy the time honored traditions of hand fabrication in my work and derive great personal satisfaction and enjoyment in creating custom pieces for clients to celebrate the special occasions in their lives. Working with clients on design concepts creates a special bond and is very rewarding.
