I have always loved all types of art and music. I was raised on the east coast of Florida during the 50's and 60's. It was a great place to be a child and grow up. After being in the service and discharged in the mid 60's, I returned to Florida and enrolled in Junior College to study Art. I also attended Journeyman's Carpenter school and trained under master carpenters. I formed my own crew and built houses and high rise apartments in the early 70's. I moved to Colorado where for the next few years I worked for an architectural design firm. From there it was on to California where I met a couple who taught me to build willow furniture. It has been my passion ever since!

I have built furniture for clients all over the United States, in Canada and Europe. I have also taught the Art of Willow building to thousands of students from coast to coast. I have always grown and cultivated my own willow to use for functional art pieces. My motto is "Where there's a Willow there's a Way". Along this way I also learned to play the harmonica, and have given lesson on playing as long as I've been teaching about Willow. My work in the Willows has been featured on public television shows and in numerous magazine articles. I now have a Gallery and Studio in Livingston, Tennessee where I build and sell my Willow Art.
