I grew up in Cookeville and graduated from Tennessee Tech with a BFA in Painting in 2006. Before and since, I've followed my muse wherever he leads: sometimes abstract landscapes, where the entire idea is to capture all the sensations of afternoons in summer, light falling through the trees; sometimes realistic figurative work, a story with no words, entirely in the mind of the viewer. I love nothing better than when someone tells me how my art made them feel, because that is the essence of art to me - how you feel when you're looking at it. | |
