I
decided to rekindle my interest in watercolor painting six months after retiring
in August 1996. Guy Slover was my mentor and I studied one year under his guidance
and instruction. I have attended a number of workshops by art instructors with
noted reputations. After a period of time, I expanded by work to include pencil, acrylic and mixed media. I enjoy participating in several art guilds and societies, for it provides me opportunities to associate with people in various communities who have similar interests in developing and sharing their artistic talents. I am a member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society and exhibited my work in the 31st Tennessee Watercolor Society Exhibition in Knoxville, TN in the summer of 2008. My wife, Sharron, and I have our home at the in Pleasant Hill, TN. | |||
