ART Prowl Studio Tour 2006

Proposed Prowl Schedule
Studio Tour: Fri, Nov 17th,12- 8 & Sat, Nov 18,10-5

Artists participating are encouraged to have some type of reception Friday at their studio.

Fee for the Tour will be $100.00 with a $50.00 sponsorship. Artists will be encouraged to get a $50.00 or more from a sponsor of choice or make up the sponsorship themselves.

Deadline for membership in this year’s Studio Tour is July 31, 2006. Information and feed must be mailed or brought to 230 Cora Road, Cookeville no later than said date.

We will advertise via newspaper, radio, TV, brochures and post cards.

The brochures will be in black/white and will include a bio of the artist and a picture of the artist’s work.We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Molton of 210 Design & Marketing will be designing our NEW Brochure this year. For those of you who will be participating please sent your bio and picture(s) to Jennifer at 210design@frontiernet.net.

Map of scheduled stops will be made larger this year on the brochure and in Explore Monthly with a little more detail.

Post cards will be mailed to special individuals. The post card will show a piece of artwork from one of our participating members and will be juried in by a group of artists, so make sure you get your art work pictures in---yours may be the one selected.

If you are without a place to show your work---please let us know and we will pair you with someone.

Art & Frame Outlet, Art Store Café, West Textures Gallery, Ebony Eyes Gallery, The Potter’s Wheel and Glass & More will all have information available to the public about the tour.

August 7, 2006 Meeting at 230 Cora Road to decide picture for post card and layout of brochure.

September 15, 2006 Brochures are to be finished and available to artists.

October 15, 2006 Post cards mailed.

Art Prowl will have a double tent at the Fun Fest this year Friday - September 8 and Saturday - September 9, to let people know about the tour and have artwork for viewing and for sale. So if anyone doing the tour this year would like to show same of their work, please let me know. We will need from volunteers to man the tents.
